About Our Performances

Sonare Wind Trio has been providing a fantastic look into the world of chamber music in the Massachusetts and New England areas for seven years. Sonare has performed in New York City in addition to local notables such as: Julia Child, Mitt Romney and Mayor Menino. Sonare’s virtuous performances gives their audiences a memorable chamber experience. The Classical combination of flute, Viola and cello has a variety of timbres from warm and dark to bright and cheerful. Sonare performs repertoire originally written for this combination. With works from Mozart to Piston, as well as arrangements especially written for the trio of popular classics from Beethoven to The Beatles.

Each member of Sonare holds a degree in Music Performance from distinguished schools with extensive experience in the chamber realm as well as extensive resumes. Even the fairweather classical listener can appreciate this combination.

Sonare also collaborates with composer Erik Lindgren, who’s works are a fusion of classical and contemporary styles. The sound has been described as rock music in a chamber setting.

Sonare Wind Trio is available to perform for recitals, concert series, festivals, museum or art gallery.
